Will grew up in a family of avid bird hunters where his dad was a bird dog trainer in his spare time.
He started shooting in 2007 recreationally and competed in his first sporting clays tournament in 2008. He shot FITASC and sporting clays for NSCA Team USA where he earned two junior world medals.
He made a USA Shooting Junior Worlds team in 2013 and switched to shooting international style trap full time in 2016 after joining the Army.
The Dacula, Georgia, native is a Soldier with the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit and is one of the primary shotgun demonstration shooters. Will currently has seven International medals and most recently earned a gold medal in Men's Trap Team at the 2023 World Championships and was on the 2023 Pan American Games team.
Will will be making his Olympic debut in Paris 2024.
